Hello and welcome

HANMAC will be closing for the Christmas break on 30th November 2018 at 12pm reopening for a day on the 19th December and then closing until the 14th January 2019. HANMAC would like to take this opportunity to thank our current and ex students, the employers that we have, and continue to work with and all other services that have supported HANMAC throughout 2018 and wish them and their families a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New year.

Are you interested in working in the Aged, Community care or Disability sectors?

Are you currently employed in the Aged, Community care or Disability sectors and need to get your qualification?

If you answered yes to either of these questions, CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support is the qualification for you.

HANMAC will be holding the next orientation day for CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support on the 16th January 2019 starting at 10 am. This day provides students with the opportunity to meet HANMAC’s staff, find out more about the qualification, ask questions and complete the enrollment process. Interested in attending orientation? Complete an Expression of Interest and return it to [email protected] and we will be in touch closer to the orientation date.

Unable to make it to the orientation day? you can register your interest in this qualification by contacting HANMAC directly or completing and lodging an Expression of Interest form.


Are you unable to commit to classroom based training due to work or other commitments? If yes, HANMAC offers the following qualifications via external study options:

  • CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support.
  • CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services.
  • HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.
  • CHC42015 Certificate IV in Community Services.
  • CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
  • CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability.

External study has minimal requirements for class time** with assessments being completed at home. For further information on external study options and commencement dates contact HANMAC.

* Training and working in the health and community services sectors (includes Aged Care, Home and Community Care and Disability) involves lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and other physically demanding activities. Please consider your ability to complete these tasks prior to applying.
** Students enrolled in external study are required to attend critical classes and complete the mandatory work placement element relevant to their chosen course.

HANMAC provides services both in the workplace and at our head office located at 601 Ross River Road, Kirwan. HANMACs training services are conducted in the workplace, through external study methods or through face to face training conducted at our Kirwan office.
